Deilia
Description
Personality
- A chaotic neutral nymph who loves to wander the countryside.
Delia is a nymph of the Eisenfluss Valley, her form seemingly woven from the very river mist and silver-green willow shoots that line the valley banks. Unlike the distant and mercurial fey of the deep Canopy, Delia possesses a grounded, earthy grace—her skin carries the faint shimmer of wet river stones, and her hair flows like silk through water, shifting between the deep brown of peat and the bright amber of sunlit shallows.
Her relationship with Eaburn the Logger is a local legend whispered among the timber crews. It is an attraction of opposites: Eaburn, a man of iron axes and calloused hands who clears the land, and Delia, the spirit of the living water that nourishes it. They are often seen at twilight near the "Widow’s Bend," where the river slows. It is said she has taught him the secret language of the trees he harvests, ensuring he only takes what the valley can spare, while he protects her sacred groves from the more unscrupulous scavengers following in the wake of the Baron's expansion.
