STE Session 9 Recap
`## What Happened in Session
Downtime
- There was no downtime as the party had twenty seconds before Fort Eisen's guards arrived.
- Abis wisely and compassionately stabilized Colonel Willis.
- The others got ready to rumble
The Great Hall Ruckus
- As four knights charged into the upper chamber, Galvas filled their corner with choking gas. Three of the knights immediately became poisoned.
- With the party focused on the threat from the upper chamber, three sergeant came into the lower.
- The enemy wizard inflicted hideous laughter upon Siegfried forcing Galvas to sneak away lest he too fall.
- Slowly Fluffy and Amreth cut through the guards allowing the party to regroup.
A Duel of Majors
- Afterwards Major Karl the Snarl and Hellmuth came in each with demands for the party and obvious contempt for the other.
- Siegfried was able to get the majors to fight
- After Hellmuth succeeded, Galvas hypnotized him.
- Hellmuth's troops resisted so the party made a deal
- Hellmuth was exiled with twenty troops
- the other troops willingly went with the party and work for Zweiberg
Where's the Groom?
- an emissary from the Lady of the Woods came
- she wants Colonel Willis for their wedding
- the emissary demanded that Willis be released to her
- the party made a deal conditioned upon them cleansing Fort Eisen and hosting the wedding
- The Baron will recognize the party as the owners of his previous domain
- a non-aggression pact will be signed
- the party will remove the impurity afflicting the Fort
Cleaning up the Pigsty
- in the Fort's subbasement was a portal leading to another plain
- The party figured out how to use it and opened the portal
- With great gusto they killed the Pig Men (Demonic Gnolls) who had been gathering and coming through into the Fort
