• An international order that until the War of the Emerald Throne had maintained its strict neutrality in the pursuit of knowledge.
• Mages who belong this order pledge to aid each other in the sharing of knowledge and coordination of experiments.
• The Society of Magic is organized in the following manner:
  • The Grand Council
  • The National Council
  • The Local Council
• When the National Council of the Great Canopy declared for Prince Folen they broke with centuries of tradition.
