STE Session 4 Recap

What Happened

Amreth von Helritter purchased gear and a full plate armor.
Galvas continued researching "the Shadow that Walks Behind" discovering that this entity is so dangerous few mention its name.
Siegfried learned that everyone leaves a trail...of paperwork! He found out that a mysterious Kyo owns the apartment that Abis tracked the female elf to.
Abis purchased a Staff of Fungus.

The Party met with the Mayor and Commander Aldric Fenshaw and Commander Edda Vornkrecht in the mayor's office before deploying the 1st and 2nd Companies to Upper Berg.
As they discussed what would happen next, everyone noticed a great thud from the air shaft above.
Galvas and Abis along with the Commanders rushed outside to head off the spy.
Siegfried managed to fall flat on his back while Amreth got stuck in the air grate.
With some help for Galvas, Abis climbed into the loosened air grate and wild-shaped into a crocodile! (For the next generation Berg's air shafts and sewers were said to be infested with these reptiles) Cornering their prey and biting down hard, Abis dragged Kyo out into the open.
The Party and their allies then interrogated Kyo, who informed them that he had been spying for Prince Folen for decades.
Kyo has agreed to hand over his spy network after a year a day for his freedom. He will put Berg's authorities in touch with his second in command, Sylvara Ashveil.

As Aldric and Edda led their companies in securing Old Town, The Party moved against the first power of Low Town: the Lotus Den.
Galvas, Abis, and Siegfried purchased time in the Cloud while Amreth remained downstairs.
Siegfried failed his con check and became convinced that he was in a magical garden while Galvas and Abis awkwardly stared down the Lotus Thugs. Their stalemate did not last long as Amreth's refusal to pay or leave led to screams and violence.
A general melee ensued with Amreth not taking a single hit. Even Siegfried contributed!
The Party now has control over the southern district of Low Town and a drug den.
