Chronurgist Wizard (Chronurgy Magic)

Chronurgy is an Arcane Tradition (subclass) for Wizards in D&D 5e, introduced in Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, specializing in manipulating time and fate (dunamancy). These wizards control the battlefield by forcing rerolls, altering initiative, and freezing enemies, making them elite crowd-control casters considered exceptionally powerful.

Background: Ever since Galvas was old enough to understand the history of Berg, he vowed to undo the damage that had been done during the War for the Emerald Throne.  Though a member of the Society of Magic, Galvas only joined in order to use their knowledge and insights to strengthen his own skills in the hope of one day reversing time, in order to undo the destruction of Berg.  His path has led him into the lesser known, and rarely studied arcane arts of Chronurgy (the magical control over the flow of time).  Through a life spent studying every magical tome he could get his hands on, he believes he may be close to the breakthrough he has so hoped for.
